Michael Gregory Whitfield
Greg Whitfield grew up in Durham, North Carolina. He graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. Greg attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Law and graduated in 1990. After working in his father’s law practice in Charlotte, North Carolina, Greg moved his law practice to Mooresville in 1999 to form a general practice firm.After managing a solo practice, Greg formed Whitfield and Mock in 2003, with his law partner, Franklin Mock, as a general practice firm concentrating in personal injury, workers’ compensation, criminal law, as well as, domestic law and Social Security disability. Greg concentrates his practice in the areas of personal injury, workers’ compensation and criminal law, driving while impaired (DWI), traffic tickets as well as wills and trusts.
In addition to practicing law, Greg enjoys giving back to his community through his membership in several professional and civic organizations, as well as, serving as a member of the Mooresville Graded School District Board of Education. He is a member and past president of the Mooresville-Lake Norman Rotary Club and the Lake Norman Shrine Club. He attends Vanderburg United Methodist Church where he currently serves as Chairperson of Church Council. In addition, Greg is a member of the North Carolina Academy of Trial Lawyers, North Carolina Bar, the 22A Judicial District Bar, and the Iredell County Bar where he currently serves as its President.
