James Franklin Mock

I am honored to be able to serve my client’s needs. I feel strongly that my role is to listen and counsel as I help my clients try to achieve closure to their legal cases. Often I find that my domestic clients can find their quickest path to happiness through resolution out of court. For my disability clients I pay careful attention to their ailments and complaints and I try to convey their story to help them receive their disability benefits. For my criminal clients, I have worked hard to educate them as to the process, negotiate with the prosecutor and ultimately help my client decide whether it is best to assert their rights to a trial or take a reduced plea offer. The common theme I try to convey to all clients is that I care about their issues and I want to help improve their lives.

Franklin Mock has been married to his wife Laura for 18 years and he has two sons, Samuel and Benjamin. Franklin handles Family Law cases, Social Security Disability cases and Criminal Defense cases for the firm. Franklin Is also a dual certified mediator as he is a certified Family Financial Mediator, and a certified Superior Civil Court Mediator. Franklin is a past Deacon at Forest Park Presbyterian Church in Statesville. He is the past immediate Chairman of the Board of HealthReach Community Clinic in Mooresville. He is a former member of Race City Civitans. Hiking, grilling, and camping are some of his passions. Franklin is an avid Tar Heel and Carolina Panthers fan.
